Midnight Lab: small, sharp AI tools by Mayas Ötegen

Midnight Lab is where I ship AI experiments. I build small, sharp AI tools in the hours when the city is quiet.

Selected work

Desk for Hark: unofficial Windows desktop app for Hark, with hotkeys, Quick Ask and tray notifications.
Dubaify: type any idea and see how Dubai would build it, in English or Arabic.
Civitas: psychohistory for Claude, inspired by Asimov.
Picklio: answers questions from text, images and PDFs.
AI Detector for LinkedIn: flags AI-written posts and comments.
Refine It!: browser extension that rewrites highlighted text.
TempGPT: privacy-first temporary GPT chats that delete themselves.
StarSnap: AI photos of you with celebrities.

About

I work across strategy, partnerships and technology, and I like building things myself. Midnight Lab is my space to test AI ideas quickly and ship the ones that work.
